(BMC) has seized approximately 255 kg of plastic and amassed Rs 3,90,000 in fine on the fourth day. So far BMC has collected about Rs 10 lakh in fines.
List of plastic materials which are not banned:

Controversy Point: Plastic vs Paper
Yes, plastic creates lots of environmental problems but alternatively we have saved many trees which would be converted into paper bags! Thus we have saved many trees which would have caused Global Warming.
Talking about mobile phones and other electronic gadgets. These materials does not produce e-waste?? So we should start banning without a proper solution?? Do e-waste does not harm our environment??
Whom should be blamed the Civilians who are using plastic or Government Officials who has not developed an efficient system to collect & recycle plastic waste. So why can't Govt. increase the Waste Management System for Plastic??
Or they think plastic can't be recycled here is the link: https://swachhindia.ndtv.com/recycling-plastic-in-india-converting-plastic-waste-to-fuel-the-unrealised-potential-9436/
NO Proper Planning by BMC:
Fishermen in City has complained against plastic ban claiming that BMC has not made proper planning. Mumbai’s fisherwomen were in for a major setback as after selling fish in plastic bags, they store the remaining in a thermocol box to ensure that it doesn’t get spoiled.
So they should use paper bags?? How its possible?? More over the ban is implemented in rainy season. So how should a person carry fish in paper bag that to in rainy season?? Same scenario is with food delivery shop and with retailers.
Politics ?
According to me decision was good but it lacks lot of solution!
Yes plastic can be Recycled!
