Excerpt from this weeks Bitshares State of the Network Report
@billbutler has announced the release of a new version of the Bitshares reference wallet (v2.0.171121). This sprint has had 25 items closed by 8 separate developer who are being paid by the Bitshares blockchain as part of the Bitshares-GUI worker proposal.
Bitshares is now being traded on Binance.
Bitspark.io CEO George Harrap talks with Ashe Whitener about why they are switching their established remittance business from Bitcoin to Bitshares. This interview really shows the value of Bitshares and Market Pegged Assets to a business which requires the ability to transfer money from one local currency to another without the need to prefund bank accounts all around the world.
Discussions between the Bitshares Foundation, Bittrex and their legal counsel have concluded and the Bitshares Foundation is now waiting for the final results and is hopeful to be able to share the statement with the community soon.
Michael Taggart has spoken at the Latin American Blockchain Forum earlier this month. His 2x 45 minute sessions covered Bitshares, Steem and EOS and were spread out over 2 days with an audience including University students, investors, bankers and government officials.
@steempower thanks for sharing the updates on Bitshares Network. In my journey to learn more about Bitshares, I have been reading several of your posts and comments and realized you have a lot of knowledge on the 3 (bitshares, steem and eos). Thanks for sharing this valuable information to the steemit community.
I actually have a question for you to see if you can help me, suggest me what to do, or know someone with impact on Openledger or Bitshares that can help me get some funds back. This is what I did:
I transferred some STEEM funds from Bittrex to Bitshares.org, via Openledger-dex (OPEN.X), and made a mistake on the MEMO. Instead of puting my MEMO code, I wrongly entered: "openledger-dex" as MEMO. You can view this from 21 hours ago by now, on the https://steemit.com/@openledger-dex/transfers with my mistake and I found my transaction of 189.990 Steem. They actually have it, but as I did not enter my correct MEMO, their system did not deliver it to my bitshares.org account because they have "openledger" as MEMO, instead of "j23gt3-d940-76jtd34z-53rvt6q6" (which is my MEMO).
Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards,
@gold84
