Another free 1-1 token airdrop inbound.
Lab Ledger are looking to incentive scientific peer reviews and build a knowledge base on the EOS network. The decentralized nature of the blockchain will make document sharing exponentially easier for scientists and researches all around the world to access, modify and submit there documents.
The academic research market is worth over 25 billion dollars and according to the team at lab ledger, is in a very broken state and in need of a refresh. They believe this project will fix the current issues by incentivizing the peer review process that will deliever the same benefits outlined in my Everipedia article.
Unless you are either a scientist or researcher, these tokens may not benefit you but free is free. Make sure you have your tokens registered in the Etheruem smart contract before the snapshot date, a how to is here.
There really is a reoccurring theme to all these dApps, rewarding the curator and not the hosting provider.
In their whitepaper they talk about the current system being broken with significant cost/time spent however I'm curious if there will be any governing control in publication.
They talk about the voting system similar to Reddit and reward system based on posting and upvotes but are there any controls in place for posting? If there are no controls you are going to see the trolls of the internet let loose. I can see it now.... The effects of the airborne flying pig disease when consumed by the big bad wolf. :)
