I'm making the crypto world friendly and accessible for everybody by explaining acronyms and terms related to cryptocurrency. Here I found:
ICO | Initial Coin Offering is a means of crowdfunding the release of a new cryptocurrency, the tokens being sold to raise money for technical development |
EOS | ERC-20 compatible token that may have no value, distributed on the Ethereum blockchain pursuant to a related ERC-20 smart contract (the “EOS Tokens”) |
IOTA | Transactional settlement and data transfer layer for the Internet of Things, based on a new distributed ledger, the Tangle, which overcomes the inefficiencies of current Blockchain designs and introduces a new way of reaching consensus in a decentralized peer-to-peer system |
ZEC | Trade symbol of Zcash, a cryptocurrency that offers privacy and selective transparency of transactions |

I do a lot of work in IoT. Can you explain the IOTA layer a bit more please and the role of blockchain in it? Many thanks
IOTA uses a concept that is called the Tangle instead of a Blockchain. The makes unlimited scalability possible and makes that the more transactions are done the faster the transactions are done. And there are no fees necessairy when using the Tangle. Hope this helps a bit:) If you have more questions on IOTA please let me know and I'll try to provide you with the best answer I can give you
