I just want to express my gratitude to people who unravelled for us the mechanics of how we can divert funds "stolen" from us through clever schemes by centralised internet giants such as Facebook, Google and Amazon.
The logic is very simple, yet elusive to many newcomers to the internet scene: these giants make a platform ready and easy to use to exchange information between people, then they " mine" this data and sell it to advertisers without financial benefit to the lawful owners of these data.
Blockchain platforms such as steemit pass on the value of these data to the rightful owners, thus benefiting them financially and spreading the wealth evenly.
The next time you invest or use any " genuine" blockchain platform, know that you're contributing to a fairer, more just world.
