As i'm sure a lot of you are aware the EOS token sale has now distributed their first tokens to those who contributed in the first round.
It's super exciting to be involved in the first round of a new token however I was extremely confused as to how you actually get your balance of EOS after the round as I used MyEtherWallet instead of Metamark to buy the first tokens.
After a few minutes googling I couldn't find any information on how to add EOS to the wallet to check your holdings so I decided to post a "How to" Guide to add EOS to your wallet (like below).
To add EOS to your wallet please follow the steps below:
Before you start make sure you have claimed your tokens first before trying to add EOS status to your wallet.
@thimom has a good guide here on how to claim your tokens after the first round has finished.

A few minutes after claiming your tokens, go to etherscan (https://etherscan.io/) and add your wallet address to the search box
Click on "Token Transfers"
Here you will see your token balance :-) (920 Tokens!) as a transfer from EOScrowdsale, we're not finished yet though. We want to add EOS to our wallet so we can start trading and see our holdings in one place. Click on the Erc20 Token to see details for the next step.
Once you have the token details page open, note the Contract address and Decimals as we need this for the next step
Now go into MyEtherWallet and click on "View Wallet Info". Once opened click on "Add Custom Token" to the right. Enter your details from our Token information in Etherscan.
e.g (this is for my address, I'm not sure if everyone has the same contract address so just use what you receive from etherscan to be 100%)
Address: 0x86fa049857e0209aa7d9e616f7eb3b3b78ecfdb0
Token Symbol: EOS
Decimals: 18
Once finished hit "Save" and you should see your EOS token amounts on the right hand side and you should now be able to send your EOS to trading platforms such as Kraken and Bitfinex.
Hope this is helpful to some of you new to EOS and Erc20 Tokens.
