EOS ICO launched about a week ago and is now currently in it's 2nd window of ICO distribution. It's about a year long ICO but EOS has already hit the exchange markets and moving.
At the time of making this post, EOS is ranked #751 on Coinmarketcap with a 24hr volume of about $270 million.
Currently trading above $2. Yesterday was the first day when it hit exchanges had some volatility. The price peaked around the current trading price.
Throughout the day, EOS started be added to Chinese exchanges and overnight, the price of EOS began to climb.
On Bter exchange, the 24hr high hit 35.9 CNY per EOS. Converting that to USD, EOS was sold at over $5 at one point.
According toVenturebeat, EOS has set a new ICO record raising $185 million in 5 days.
With China driving up the price of EOS, will it continue to rise? or will we see some drawback with the year long distribution of the ICO? EOS is very promising and if the price continues at the rate we're seeing, this could be one of the top crypto to have.

It will continue to rise for the short term. An equilibrium will be hit between market prices and the ICO window.
To be on par with ethereum the price could actually rise to $25 and have an equal market cap. If you are planning to hodl now might be the best time to buy
