(7) Block Producer Candidate Roadmap on values, community project timeline, finances, transparency, or any other topic the candidate deems important. Please show the direction and future of your candidacy for the community.
Values:
As a long-time miner in the cryptocurrency, we were initially intrigued by the prospect of earnings an income by running software on a machine. However, over the years we have to learn more about the value and importance that miners provide to the network and its function. As a Block Producer for EOS, we know that our infrastructure undergirds and provides the basis on which decentralization can provide to the varied applications that run on top of it. We are a part of a larger cadre of players that seek to empower and unleash capabilities that had been previously reserved for only the powerful and privileged.
As a Block Producer we provide freedom to the users of the system, offering an alternative to the ‘Old Guard’. Providing peer to peer transactions without intermediaries is in itself a form of freedom. Freedom provides options, options can be the beginning of hope, and the pursuit of hope can lead to happiness. As an EOS Block Producer, this is what we intend to provide to the users, applications, and the network.
Finances:
What is our financial position as an EOS Block Producer? What does this mean? For us, it means operating our organization with a level of integrity that benefit the network and simultaneously allows to run a profitable operation. Profits will be split between savings and community development.
Transparency:
Transparency is closed tied to finances. If we do the right thing with our finances, we have one less thing to hide. We aim to let users of the system know how we are conducting our business. We have a long history of working with the Protoshares, Bitshares, Steem and now EOS ecosystems. From the beginning when Dan presented his idea at small cryptocurrency conference in October 2013, a few our founders were there. From the launch of Protoshares and the first few hours of POW mining, to Bitshares XT to the year long crowdfund of Angelshares, to the difficulty of Follow My Vote, and the unveiling of Graphene, we have been here. So, we aim to offer an above-board approach to working in the best interest of the community. Our goal is to get it right and we will, if we don’t hide our intentions and communicate along the way.
(8) Position on Dividends (The sharing of Block Producer inflation rewards with unaffiliated voters, AKA "vote buying.") Please describe the block producer candidate's stance on sharing inflation rewards and/or paying dividends to EOS token holders.
(a) Will the organization offer payment to EOS token voters for any reason, including BP elections AND worker proposals?
Our BP rewards will create a positive feedback loop where BP rewards are reinvested back into the community. We will invest our dividends towards education to grow the EOS ecosystem.
EOS CSX pledges to adhere to the EOS Constitution and will NOT conduct any vote-buying activities.
EOS CSX does NOT support or actively participate in such practices. We remain completely impartial and will not offer payments (like dividends or tokens payments) in return for voting from EOS token holders. We will not pay BP Elections and Worker Proposals for votes.
(b) Does the organization have a written policy of no-payment for votes? If so, please provide a link.
