Being a recent EOS token holder from the crowd sale I wanted to find out which was the better offer. The last EOS ICO distribution was valued at $3.36 USD and trading on Bitfinex for $3.06 on low.
Period 0 - Largest difference between market and distribution
Period 1 - Distribution still made money with market difference
Period 2 - Aggressive Buyers drive EOS token distribution above exchange price
Period 3 - Buyers back off and EOS token distribution price retraces to exchange price
Period 4 - Distribution still made money with market difference
Period 5 - Market Price lower than distribution price by around 10%
Period 6 - ????????????????????
The ICO's unique approach is challenging to analyze. @mada and I hired @tarotbyfergus to draw a tarot card for additional insight into the next 72 hours for EOS.
He drew Queen of Swords which portends anxiety, loneliness, and aggressively causing pain to others. She is mature and all in her head.
Questions for the future:
- What level of buying takes place in the last hours(minutes?) in the distribution windows?
- Are there Whales pumping up/artificically depressing the price of each EOS distribution window at the last minute?
- Is it better to buy big now or slowly accumlate EOS tokens for someone who believes in the project?

Yep, I got screwed in #2 by the idiots that came in at the last min and pumped nearly 10k ETH into it, screwing it up. I never would have bought in at those crazy numbers.
This is the issue with this ICO model. Everyone purchases at the price of the last idiots. Absolutely not a fan of the model. I'm sure there are some positive aspects of it as well. But everyone purchasing at the price of the dumbest speculators is really not appealing to me.

if the mass do that why don't you buy it from exchanges then ?
