What is up everyone. Quite a boring day for crypto and especially EOS as it falls almost 10% in a major sell off. Right now I can't see any obvious reason. Perhaps some people are tired of the weekly change of plans by Dan Larimer - and they are afraid. Or it could be that EOS, which has been a little over hyped is just reacting stronger than other cryptos in this bear market.

Nevertheless, I've said it before, and I'm saying it again. If you plan on getting rich quick I would have sold EOS at 10$. And that would have been a good decision in retrospect I see now. Personally, I am not selling. I would not even sell at 2$ or 50$. The reason is because I have invested a sum that I can afford to lose in crypto as a whole. And I never plan to sell out. I have invested A LOT of money, very very close to what I can afford to lose. But instead of speculating and freaking out about recent prices, I spend my time researching and learning. Why? Because people need the information, I need the information - and we are so ridicilously early, that anyone with some patience and effort can become an expert on Crypto.

So I spend my time learning, connecting with people, talking, coming up with ideas, create. I try to help and contribute to the space, instead of just freaking out over prices.

Owners And Active Keys

EOS is amazing. I'm saying that even though EOS is not my number one investment in crypto. I just finished setting up all my EOS accounts with their own Active key as well as Owners key. There were not really any good tutorials on how to do this, but after conversations with the guys over at eostoolkit and Genereos, I made it work. It's a little tricky, but I have taken my notes, and I will post a really solid tutorial soon. Stay tuned!

Quick Q: I'm holding EOS on Binance at the moment, would I get these EOS token airdrops? Or do I need to have them in a specific wallet?

Thanks and good post! Excited about EVA!

Hi! Sorry about the late reply @stevecronin. If you hold your EOS on Binance or any other exchange, you will get the airdrops they decide. They are in control of your funds, so they can chose not to give you certain airdrops.

In general I would really recommend holding EOS in your own wallet. @greymass and @genereos has two very good wallets that are easy to use. Also, you will most likely in the near future be rewarded with more passive income if you decide to stake EOS for CPU. Which is very easily set up in the wallet.

There is literally no reason to hold EOS on Binance unless you are planning to trade them or sell them short term.

Thank you! :)

This was incredibly helpful, it was very difficult for me to find an answer as straight as this, thank you!

Thanks for mentioning the upcoming ride-sharing revolution!
