EOS New York Meetup

On May 10th at EOS New York's 4th community meetup, we introduced the community to an open-source community-driven documentation hub for EOS.IO we call EOSdocs.io. We walked a room full of developers and non-developers of all skill levels through the basic dev cycle from smart contract compiling to launching on the blockchain. Our goal was to have everyone walk away learning at least one thing. From the feedback we received we believe we were successful.

EOSDocs.IO

Created in collaboration with Warrick Fitzgerald of Binary Focus, EOSdocs.io encourages the community to contribute to and create exceptional EOS documentation in order to facilitate the development of great ideas around the world.

The Path Forward

Our hope is that the community adopts this tool and grows it to be a comprehensive, expansive, and truly helpful portal meant for developers of all skill levels. It’s easy to contribute and edit the documentation, instructions can be found here. We will explore adding multiple languages as we move forward.
