The first generation iPhone was released on June 29, 2007 an what an impact it had, but how might it give us insight into how EOS may have the same impact on DAPS. At the time NOKIA was the leading handset manufacturer with over 50% market share, but along came apple with its experimental shinny device that promised so much with a promise of execution that it delivered in the years that followed.
How apple delivered this was it concentrated on its software not only on its hardware, the endgame was the App Store not just the phone. Apple created a Developer culture (WWDC) that fuelled the innovation that distinguished apple from other phone manufactures.
Why? It's how we interface with our precious phones, our phone is only the harbourer of our apps that we use as windows to where we place our attention. While Nokia focused on hardware apple focused on apps, and clearly we know who won the race.
The race today is who gets the best developers to create the next decentralized Facebook, Uber, PayPal, Instagram, or even Amazon. The friction points now is how we get these DAPS to interface with the blockchain to meet the business mechanics, How does EOS plan to achieve this?
It brings developers to the application layer and not to the interface layer where you need specific blockchain experience. Developer energy can be focused in what developers do best and that is creating apps , community's, experience and commerce in the language that they know well. EOS is creating an OS for developers like apple created IOS, and the rest is history.
EOS will make this race history in the not so distant future.
