EOS Contract Programming - Programmer explains

in #eos7 years ago

EOS is a smart contract platform that is going to be released next year. Today we take a look at how it actually is to develop smart contracts on this platform. This video is quite technical, but even if you're not a programmer it's beneficial to just watch and get a picture of what it is like programming software on EOS. If you are investing in crypto it's only to your advantage if you actually have seen how this process looks like.

Thanks for watching guys 💝

Ivan on Tech by Ivan Liljeqvist

Can eos handle thousands of transactions per second? I see this issue both on btc and eth. We need a super fast blockchain.

Yes it can. EOS uses DPoS (delegated proof of stake), exactly like steem does. Steem already handles the record number of transactions per day without even using 1% of its capacity. Check blocktivity.info for more data on this topic.

BTC and ETH both use PoW (proof of work) and can't scale at all. This is why I moved my investments to steem mainly.

I'm also into steem. This is the most promising blockchain powered solution. Facebook market cap is about 500B, Steem is about 700m. There is huge potential for growth.

It can grow beyond facebook's market cap, because steem is not just tied to steemit. With smart media tokens release in early 2018, steem will be able to tokenize every website. every successful website launched with smart media tokens will increase the market cap and its potential.

Wow didn't know that about steem!

Really good video, thanks @ivanli

Been wanting to get a good look under the covers of EOS for a while. Will check out your academy stuff.

Time to buy more EOS! Or is it? Will it dip?

Long time subscriber here. I always enjoy your videos Ivan. Keep up the good work and thank you for explaining the technicals of all of the cryptos out there.

I need to take some time to play with the eos testnet!

Buen video .esperemos este próximo año su lanzamiento, ya falta poco para el año nuevo así que a finiquitar programación y diseño. Para que todo salga bien y a tiempo.
Good video. We hope this year its launch, and it is now a little before the new year, so to finish programming and design. So that everything goes well and on time.

I really appreciate your informative youtube videos! I am learning a lot, and hopefully I can put that knowledge to use going forward :)

This is great information Ivan, am planning on learning more about EOS too

Am a big fan Ivan. I admire your intellectual skill on block chain. Keep up the good work. Although am finding difficult to understand ERC - 20 Tokens.

Thanks for sharing the info. I am completely new to software programming but I do have some experience with computational methods and the basics of programming language. My plan is to start learning as much as I can, and your site seems to be very helpful. Thanks for dedicating so much time to sharing your knowledge!

Great post!! Smart contracts are very interesting coding paradigm especially when you have entire programming languages built on top. Thanks for your work we really appreciate your inputs.

Great post!!👍🚀

Thanks Ivan. I have suggestion for a future topic. Show us how to write a practical application on EOS. This would be really cool

can eos be the best among bts and eth and faster ?
