This was my response to the author when he posted the link to this blog post on our official telegram community. To this response he said:
"Ok thank you for your reply and addressing all the points. I want to forward this to the author. Do we have your permission to republish this response."
However, what is interesting is that it becomes apparent from the screenshots he used, particularly the telegram screenshot, that "Klintay" is the author of this blog, yet says he wants to "forward this to the author" out of his failed attempt to redeem himself from making this lie-ridden post. Yet, he still hasn't deleted it as requested. So here is a copy of my response:
@klintay (<-- the blog author's telegram ID).
No hard feelings. Just here to address the lies in your steemit post (https://steemit.com/eos/@digital-assets/exit-scam-alert-south-korean-eos-block-producer-keos):
THE COMMUNITY REACTION WAS FIERCE - Yes, initially it was. But after the new announcement which we just made, our community members are not only very excited but many are expressing gratitude for really taking into account what they have been demanding over the last couple days. BUT, our English channel wasn't really fired up other than you Klintay. Let's not exagerrate. Also, community sentiment is never permanent. As long as a project is on, so is the ever-changing community sentiment. Trying to appease the community is definitely a virtue, but what matters truly is that the team continues to work towards growing the business into success and accomplishing a thriving ecosystem alongside the community.
POSTS WERE DELETED TO COVER THE TRACKS - the post shown in the screenshots you posed as evidence was deleted specifically because a new announcement was made to replace the old. Where I do business, usually when news is updated, people don't assume tracks are being covered. We didn't delete anything really, we are just doing our job to ensure that our users are not confused.
CHRIS BANNED (MULTIPLE) USERS - I banned you Klintay, and you were the only user I've ever banned. The reason is simple, you wouldn't stop calling us "scum". You were banned simply because you refused to follow the elementary rule set forth within the community.
ALLEGATIONS ON KEOS VOTING FOR THEMSELVES - It's all in your head. Where is the evidence? Did you know that when the migration does happen ultimately, that every KEOS held by the "company" (which includes the "marketing" allocation) will be gone, and not a single one of it will be migrated? You have to keep it mind, PUBLISH is not a "rebranding" or an "extension" of KEOS, but a totally separate business, much bigger in size and clarity both in terms of its vision, team and roadmap.
(Not a lie, but a poor advice) SELL WHILE YOU CAN - You can do that, and let your fellows do that too. But by doing so, you will only be doing the current KEOS buyers a big favor. The choice is really yours.
Please be aware of how wrongly you are accusing a team of dedicated individuals that is both sincere and well-equipped to building something that is both useful and meaningful, not just for the tokenholders trying to exit, but for the industry. And please refrain from making simple arithematic comparison. Saying KEOS migration has to occur at 1:1 ratio with NEWS is akin to supposing shares of a lemonade stand in its infancy deserves equal valuation as the shares of an established supermarket. Sure, a lemonade stand can grow into something phenomenal, but if the team who is running the lemonade stand has an evidently better shot at running and growing the supermarket, which business would you get behind?
The Korean community is less focused on KEOS and vastly more so on the migration or the refund proposal, and the details of each. The quiet majority may as well be in support of our long term vision. Those who have been relatively more vocal is now overtly busy trying to figure out when to sell. Price (buying) is soaring at the new update in every one of the exchanges you mentioned. It almost seems weighing the option of exiting either way with a profit by the ratio of 10:1 or 5:1 ASAP is really the only apparent issue here.
Everyone has their reasons for being here. What matters is that we do what we can, without cheating or disappearing without a word.
Please know that we have yet to make a single penny from KEOS, while you will certainly make some due to our accomodation.
Please take a look at PUBLISHprotoco.io and see for yourself what we are trying to accomplish. Of course, PUBLISH like any business in the world is a work in progress. We are doing what we can to bring value to our valued holders by focusing on a business that we know we can maximally utilize our expertise in.
