You are supposed to move your eos to an eos based wallet to get your real eos. The ones on exodus were like an iou, that’s why they got frozen. At least that’s my understanding... so after moving them to the eos wallet then I got to have my real eos and my air drops.
As for exporting the keys I was able to go off line and do it . I saved mine in a flash drive. I feel like its pretty save.

I've asked cause i've seen that in exodus wallet they've been frozen even if they've been registered thru ethereum blockchain ... or how i've understood ... so now they are sitting thru eth based wallet but frozed ... we'll see what will happen'into the Future with eos ... maybe everyone will develop an easy way to get your eos ...
