EOS tribalists are on fire

After the not so intelligent tweet [I have no intention of giving his profile a little juice on Google, so I broke the link by adding a - at the end.] by Bancor co-founder Eyal Hertzog about EOS and Ethereum DApp comparison, a horde of EOS tribalists flooded the r/eos subreddit with Ethereum vs EOS posts. The tweet said:

according to @DappRadar The 7-days volume of the top three Ethereum dApps ( @Aurora_dao , @ForkDelta & @Bancor) was $18M.

The 7-days volume of the top three EOS dApps (@EOSBetCasino, http://eos.win , @newdexio) was $50m.

EOS main-net is 3 months old, Ethereum - 3 years.

The problem is, these comparisons largely make no sense. DAppRadar doesn't list many top notch Ethereum DApps such GOLEM, BAT etc.

DAppRadar listed NewDEX as a decentralized exchange when in fact, it is not decentralized at all. That's one of the reason why it got hacked recently for over 58,000 dollars.

The other two EOS DApps stated in his example were EOSbet and eos.win, both of which are gambling dice games. The volume on those apps are highly inflated and fake. Many dice gamers bet 100s of times in the game which increases the volume exponentially even though tokens don't really change hands that many times.

Well, I think I know pretty well why Mr Eyal Hertzog is giving so much attention to such misleading stats. The thing is, he along with Rob Finch are professional con artists. He tweets stuff that appease to the average EOS joe and appears to them as if he is doing awesome stuff for the EOS community by promoting EOS projects.

You wrote something about Trybe sometime ago. What do you think of Trybe now? It was supposed to be a dapp EOs equivalent of steemit but now it just looks like a wordpress site with unfair mods(that require ou to submit your articles for review) to me.
