Inflation will be at most 5% when the mainnet is launched. This is significantly less that then 2 million tokens per day during the token distribution. Don't you think that if less tokens are being released the value of the tokens would go up? Assuming equal demand of course.

I agree, comparing to the actual distribution trend, it will be very little. I mean generally, EOS will be based on inflation, so that tendentially can affect a little bit of the price, but I think inflation is needed on EOS.
