RE: Dan Larimer (@dan) is a greedy piece of shit!

not defending him in the slightest. I don't know enough about the situation, but I was watching a youtuber talk about this, and he was basically saying that this is standard for all ICOs, the dump of the eth they collect.

Now, it seems to me (im no expert) that is not so much the action, but the timing and sheer size that is the issue. It did break some ankles on the way down, no doubt.

Totally agree with your comment ... maybe dan can leave a copy of my eos snapshotted amount come end of may and the eth guys can convert them to eth (airdrop if you will).... I would be more than happy to see them do that ...as would everyone else .... question is can they afford to bring us into the fold ....lol

this could be standard practice, ugly standard practice...

To me, it’s not so much whether or not stuff like this is ”wrong”. It’s just that @dan is a hilariously shady and hypocritical scam because he always says one thing and does another.

Why can't he tell the world the truth about his plan for EOS and not given them fucking hopes in the white paper.

I don't subscribe to the Holiness of a white paper like some do on here. I do think some of the ideas where too idealistic to be implemented, at least long term.

Regarding Dan, there seems to be lots of information on both sides of the argument. I for one found some interesting stuff on the bitshares project that left me scratching my head. It does not look right, and I'm trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but its hard to.

In any case, I try not to forget we are all human and Dan is not a god, he human and as such he messes up. I would hesitate to call him evil, but I would not hesitate to question his actions, because i dont understand them.
