At it's essence you are basically pointing out the fact that this is a place that rewards the best content and I have to agree... This is the concept that puts Steemit on the map with all of the other choices of communication and community out there.

Without maintaining this basic element Steemit would become a substandard solution full of junk content and mindless comments. This would translate into this project’s ultimate demise as well as undermine all of what could have come from this platform. So yeah! I get it!

This is a hard fact: It's the context (and its maintenance) that adds value to the content people create.

I am not a fan of begging and complaining on the platform either however it is also about developing a solid community of users who understand how the system works. That’s going to take time and patience. Right now we are all experiencing a lot of growing pains... Although we want more users to come onto the platform many of these people are coming from places like Facebook and Twitter where everyone is talking and no one is listening.

These people are still learning how this platform works. Many don’t understand the fundamentals. Although there is no such thing as easy money (I guess that's what some people are learning the hard way.) Steemit is also a place of acceptance, generosity, positivity, and promise for everyone.

Another thing to note is that many are also coming from the third world. I find this to be very exciting as I believe it is these people, the un-banked of the world as apposed to the big wigs on Wall Street, who will lead us into a new world! All we have to do is educate and inspire them about the freedom and power of crypto currency. I believe that Bitcoin and Steemit's ultimate success depends on this demographic... And this is where Steemit could be instrumental in disseminating that information.

And that’s the exciting part! It's a chance for all of us within the Steemit community to actively do good and spread around the crypto wealth. I find this both intriguing and exciting! Where else can you go to be a modern-day Robin Hood?! It's our chance to show people how the future could be and how crypto is going to change the world! And it's just when people need it... During a wealth transfer. A transfer of not only information (during the information age) but also a transfer of wealth from the people who know... to the people who don't.

I think this is another reason Steemit is such a great idea... and it's the good ideas that attract more and more interest and more and more Steem.
