What is the Astro EOS Tool?
The Astro EOS Tool is a fully open source web application designed to aid in the construction and broadcast of actions on EOS based blockchains!
It supports EOS, TLOS and BEOS blockchains, however it primarily focuses on the EOS blockchain.
It's implemented using AstroJS, ReactJS and ShadCN-UI!

The Astro EOS Tool supports the following EOS actions:
- buyram
- buyrambytes
- delegatebw
- undelegatebw
- ramtransfer (for wrapping RAM)
- transfer
So what's up?
Since the recent launch of the Astro EOS Tool I've been working with the BTWTY crew to properly iron out the functionality and I've got some changes to report on!
- Responsive design support - web app now works well on mobile!
- Introduced accordion hide-able content to enable the user to reclaim vertical space on their screen, especially for mobile!
- Introduced an 'external link' security prompt - when clicking on an outbound link you'll be prompted with a verification of intent to leave the web app.
- Added a 'Where to trade' page - providing links to the Bitshares DEX, Bitshares liquidity pools, blockchain explorers, coingecko and coinpaprika.
- Updated various package versions - maintaining the evergreen state of the web app.
- Improved the form inputs - Ensure a proper quantity of decimal places are always used for quantities of assets & correct action names are always used!
- Reduced the scope of the transfer component, you're now only able to transfer the system token and WRAM on EOS. Reason for this is that the action name can be different, so if we want to allow all assets we'll need to lookup the full asset to verify action names. For now limiting the scope of transfers feels right. If you have a custom asset then consider forking the repo to introduce support for it!
What's next for the Astro EOS Tool?
Maybe further improvements to the external links, like launching modals for xbtsx.wram -> dex link, blocksights link, etc..
Possibly additional language support - what languages would you like to see supported?
Support for additional actions - which actions would you want to see supported?
Support for additional EOS blockchains? Would need accompanying BeetEOS support, any you'd want supported?
