Hey hey Steemians!
Nex here, been a while since our last post - our work-life has taken quite a toll on our ability to study cryptos and mining
So what is EOS?
EOS is a new type of blockchain built on graphene architecture. The same team which built Steemit and Bitshares - which we know and love!
They are currently undergoing their ICO which is a year long, they are raising funds via Ethereum and distributing ERC20 tokens.
They are a competitor of Ethereum .
And while these are some facts, there are some things you should understand about EOS:
The code is available to anyone
You can check out the code @ GitHub: https://github.com/EOSIO
There is * No Mining* for EOS tokens
There will be Producers, which will work similarly to Witnesses in Steem.
The target number of Total EOS token supply is 1 Billion
The tokens can then be staked to power the blockchain's bandwidth, computational power and storage capacity.
EOS will be the first blockchain with its own constitution
Acordding to @dantheman This is what a blockchain constituiton for EOS could look like:
https://steemit.com/eos/@dantheman/what-could-a-blockchain-constitution-look-like
And last but not least
EOS will have the capability to process millions of transactions per second through horizontal scaling!
I'm sure you heard before that one of the main problems with Bitcoin - that Ethereum kind of solved - is the processing of transactions which bottlenecks all of the transactions.
If you guys feel like learning a bit more about Dan Larimer is thinking check this out:
This is all for today, next time I will be posting something about Brazil!
Love, Nex
Resteem and UPVOTE @plainbroadcast the Mining Project for Cryptonews and Mining TIPS!
Wanna fund the project?
Every week we will top vote our donations and we will look for some way to pay you guys back! :)

If you are in usa you cant buy eos. That is what they say on their own website.
So we have heard @dang007 but...
Status' ICO also didn't allow contributors from the US and that didnt stop anyone.
All you need is the address. Blockchains are borderless so they cant block contributions from certain countries.
If you want to lose all ur money go ahead and knock yourself out. Im not going to buy eos, there are lot of other coins why buy that?
