With great excitement, we would like to hand over into the hands of EOS developers the fourth incarnation of EOSFactory v2.0. We worked very hard to make it as useful as possible and included a lot of new cool features.
Below please find an introduction of what's new, and a short tutorial on how to interact with a local, and also a public testnet. For those interested in just the tutorial, skip to 3:00.
New features in the v2.0 release:
- Full compatibility with production version of EOS (v1.2.0 or higher).
- Seamless integration with public testnets (e.g. Jungle Testnet or Kylin Testnet).
- The entire wallet management migrated to keosd, as for security reasons this feature is no longer supported by nodeos.
- A radically improved mechanism for mapping random account names to human-friendly aliases, including symbolic translation of EOS logger messages.
- A new mechanism for caching public testnet settings.
- Radically improved logger messaging, including highly customizable verbosity.
- Developer API reduced to less than 20 basic commands and classes.
For more information please refer to our documentation, and if you have any questions, hit us up on the EOSFactory Support Channel.
We made sure that the tutorials are comprehensive, and take you step-by-step through setting up and interacting with EOS blockchain, so everything should be relatively straightforward. In case of any bugs or problems, don’t hesitate to let us now - since we are not a large team, not everything is polished from the get-go, still, we’re on it constantly and hope to make it more and more useful as we go along.
We hope to hear from you - any form of feedback will help to make our product better, as we steer towards a full-blown smart contract IDE that EOSFactory is aiming to become.
We are looking forward to seeing you guys at the London Hackathon in a few days, and if you like our work, please support us by voting tokenika4eos

Take care and best of luck!
