The weekend where I got the chance to be the Dominant instead of the Dominated for once!
Sorry I've been kind of out of it! I didn't realize how much I needed a BREAK from the reality of day to day life. I was writing so much and not actually DOING things.
I ended up going out of town last minute with a friend last weekend for a BDSM play party and fuck me sideways, it was so much more than I expected. I actually got to be the Top for a scene and play with a girl I've known for a while. It was fucking phenomenal. I've wanted to Top for a long while, but I really wanted to do it with another woman. It took a while to find the right dynamic, especially since everyone who knows me knows that I love the submissive side of myself a lot. That's really the only side of me that anyone has seen.
My new friend, however, saw beyond that and trusted me enough that we made it happen. We met a while ago online, but just managed to hook up in person this weekend. It was one of those weird times when you just know that it's right and you connect in a way that is really inexplicable.
We went to the low key party on Friday and talked a LOT about what we wanted to do and try. We watched the others and made plans for Saturday night. It was so much more than I could have imagined. I was definitely flying high for a while and we ended up spending the entire weekend together. I even called in on Monday and we kind of spent the day recuperating together. She needed aftercare, for sure, but it seems that I did as well.
I promise to finish up my 'in progress' story, but I may have trouble keeping it vanilla. My entire being feels wrapped in the wonders of Domination and submission right now and I don't know that I am capable of writing about anything else at the moment.
At the very least, I need to write some short pieces to get the main parts of this weekend down so I don't forget even one part!
So, that's where I've been. Trying to catch up after spending a crazy long weekend finding my Domme side!
It was a really really good thing. I think it was especially interesting to be on the other side of the toys and implements when I know so well what it's like to be on the receiving end.
At any rate, I've also been putting work into the final edits on my next ebooks as well as working on things for my website, books sales, marketing and all that so that I can actually start selling some books. It would be really nice to have the extra income and maybe eventually make enough to quit the day job!
Here are some graphics I've been working on for pinterest (once I get my actual website finished and up, a mailing list and then graphics linking to those things will be next on the list!) Some will link to my blog, some to my newest ebooks or my book page ON my blog. I'm really excited to see everything coming together slowly but surely! Now I just need to get some good old $$$ in my account so I can get the money side of things taken care of and get this ball rolling!
