Overlaying the Lions Gate phenomena with the ancient rising of Sirius is not a good thing, imo. They are not the same thing and shouldn't be treated as one. Here are a few reasons why:
- The sun is in sidereal Cancer during the time of Sepdet rising
- The ancient people of Kham did not practice astrology per se although did know and use the sidereal calendar to track the constellational signs /stars for other reasons.
- Sirius's helical rising with the Sun or Aten was the signal in the sky where the official new year started. Zep Tepi
The actual rising of the Nile river may or may not during any given year correspond exactly with the helical rising in conjunction with the sun. There is an actual Lions gate structure built in 1300 bc Greece during the Bronze "age of heroes".
During this time there was also, according to Mama Zogbe in her book: "The Sibyls-The First Prophetess's of Mami Wata", a physical takeover and spiritual war against the priestesses who were embodied oracle lineage carriers of star and earth wisdom.
What I have seen happen over the last 40 plus years I have been involved with my own spiritual growth and development is that there is a concerted effort to separate ancient wisdom from the shamanic and medicine traditions they emerge out of the cultures of and to place an overlay of "new age" over indigenous and tribal spiritual wisdom.
In retrospect I saw this happen in the Harmonic Convergence movement of 1987 where indigenous natives of north America United States and Mexico were being overlaid with what I now know to be a fake path of ascension movement. All this love and light was supposed to be flowing through portals into the earth through those who were the "anchors" for a 'new age'.
I did notice, especially after I started going on the internet during the mid 1990s a growing presence of all of these new age teachers and organizations based on indigenous wisdom calling it something else with new names and players. I also noticed my own life becoming more and more challenging—but that is for another time and article.
It is common knowledge that conquered peoples cultural and spiritual identification are gradually erased in favor of some "greater" god of the conquerors. My suggestion is to do your own research of the culture where the new age phenomena is coming from.
My purpose in writing this is that I have been around long enough to see this phenomena come full circle (an entire Saturn return which comes every 29-30 years) to see what is happening now with all of this stuff about Lions Gate and portal openings. It is a distraction and separation from the true ancient indigenous wisdom.
My suggestion? Get right with the land, your heart and beneficial ancestors in your ancestry and of whatever practices you are doing.
Ask yourself where is this information coming from of "new age" spirituality and its spokespeople such as teacher channelers, yogis, etc including me. How many are indigenous looking people are at these gatherings? Something in the milk ain't clean as the old folks say. It may look very random on when these dates connecting these portal openings and magical dates of supposed power; I don't believe it is.
These are my suggestions to follow through on if/when you feel confused about the 'new age' movement (including the more recent "Goddess Spirituality" which looks more and more like new wave sexual imbalances where true empowerment of wombn has once again is being usurped by unhealed and unprepared people who claim goddess/priestess status because they know who to keep it tight and a'right. It has become, more and more another way for wombn to be about learning new ways to please men. It's looking like a modern form of sexual addiction. But again, that's another article.
Don't be distracted, trust your instincts if you feel you are being taken away from an authentic path especially when you start experiencing a lot of negative blowback energetically. Some may read this an say "oh, she's a bitter old woman." Well there is some disappointment, a lot actually. But more importantly I feel it is important for me to speak out to help those with ears to hear and eyes to see not make the same mistakes I have. That's all for now

STOPLife becoming more challenging....interesting. I want to hear more about that. I feel like 2016 was such a disruptive year, for me...or many people...Almost like there was a spiritual force there.

STOP@awakened-oracle, your writing makes me weep and restores to me new hope and energy. The term you used 'overlay' is accurate. It describes the media spin that is being orchestrated in today's society and it can be mentally embedded because the masses still believe most of what we hear in the news and take it as factual when often times it is not. When I think of lion's gate for whatever reason it reminds me of heaven's gate. So thank you for lending your voice of clarity. Also, I do readings with an Egyptian card set called The Book of Doors and the accompanying book gives a lot of detailed information about Sepdet which is awe-inspiring. There is an incredible powerful and ancient energy connected to Sepdet.
