Klaten - Advanced trial of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Klaten was held again on Thursday (03/05/2018) with the agenda of reading the demands. The Prosecutor (Prosecutor) demands 8 years in jail against four FPI members who were arrested after holding a public disease raid at a prominent hotel in Klaten.

Coordinator of Legal Counsel of four FPI members Klaten M. Kalono, assessed there was an irregularities in the prosecutor's demand. According to him, the prosecutor has changed the direction of prosecution by omitting article 335 verse (1) to 1 which was originally raised in the indictment.

The change occurred because the reporter, Andang Kurniawan never had the intention to report the defendants. Moreover, it turns out that Andang signed the letter on December 23, 2017 but written is December 22, 2017.
.
"With the fact, it appears that the prosecutor changed the direction of prosecution by omitting article 335 verse (1) to 1 which was originally raised in the indictment. Because the article requires complaints, while the complaint in the indictment conducted by Andang Kurniawan was not proven, "he told Kiblat.net.
.
"Finally, the remaining article to ensnare the defendant in his demand is Article 82A paragraph (1) of Law No. 16 of 2017 jo Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 Criminal Code with 8 years imprisonment of imprisonment prison," he continued.

From here, he said that the team of lawyers will provide resistance in the pledoi trial scheduled on 14 May 2018. "Pledoi will inshaAllah peel many about the fact that the trial will have implications to law enforcement," he said.

With the pledoi, Kalono hopes that errors committed by law enforcement must also be accounted for by the perpetrators. So there is a deterrent effect not to repeat the mistake.

"Not arbitrary despite having authority. Hopefully this court until the verdict can run fairly without intervention and coercion of will from certain parties, "
