Aceh is a good rice producer. Each region in Aceh has special characteristics for their rice crops.
Takengon area.
rice here has a high tree and age of rice for longer harvest time when compared with coastal area of Aceh.
As a result of weather and natural factors that are less supportive if we compare with other aceh areas.
Rice age in Takengon ranges from 4 or 5 months to
harvest time while the coastal area of Aceh is only 3
or 4 months.
Speaking of the pest factor Takengon region is superior to the Aceh region on the coast.
Rice pests in the coastal area of Aceh more while Takengon not a lot of pests. if seen in percentage
Takengon only 50% about pest rice. while in the
coastal areas of Aceh reaches 90% of pests attacking rice crops.
In this case I think.
Let us as the people of Aceh how and what steps to neutralize this to improve the quality of rice we have in Aceh.
