Spider Horned Spider

The "Spider Orb weavers", or Spider orb-weavers, is one of the spider's distinctive colorful species with horns that grow around their backs. Spiders that have a scientific name Gasteracantha this can generally be found in almost all regions of the western hemisphere.

This unique spider is able to grow up to a maximum size of 3 cm and also has many types of horns but is generally shaped like a thorn. Horns in female spiders are usually much larger than males and they are usually used against predators.

With characteristic bright and horned bodies, many assume that Spiny orb-weavers, is a deadly poisonous animal. But this assumption is wrong, because Spiny orb-weavers, it is an animal in the category of harmless and safe for humans. It's just because of its characteristic that is similar to Crab-Spider many people are aware of the existence of Spiny orb-weavers, although they've seen it.
