One of the things that often makes Windows 10 users upset when the operating system is installing updates when the computer is in use.

To solve this problem, Microsoft launched the snooze feature. Even so, users still protest that computers sometimes reboot when the computer is still in use. Microsoft says that they are aware of this problem.

"We heard you and tried to solve this problem. If you have uninstalled updates, we have updated our reboot logic with a new system that is more adaptive and proactive," said Chief Windows Insider, Microsoft, Dona Sarkar, as quoted by The Verge.

Microsoft says they have trained "predictive models" that will accurately predict when it will be best to restart thanks to machine learning.

"We will not only check if you are using your computer before restarting, we will also try to find out if you just left your computer to pick up a cup of coffee and will get back to work in the near future," Sarkar said.

Microsoft has tested this feature internally and said that they have seen "promising results".

The software maker continues to refine this AI model considering it is cloud-based and now, they provide that feature for Windows Insider. That way, they will be able to get more feedback.
