Leaf Beetle

Hi all... !!!

Personally in my life I have only met one of these insect species 2 times, the first thing I found when I was in elementary school 2nd grade, then today I found it again, I asked people he said this insect species was called **Leaf Beetle** but in scientific language I don't know.

Maybe friends who have been on this platform for a long time knew about this species.

At the beginning of the story, I deliberately noticed one of the bungenvile plants that grew in front of my house, because I saw that the plant grew very beautiful with amazing colors, but in the middle of the scene was seen one species of insects that were filled with red ants. Seeing the scene my heart could not bear, then approached it and I moved it to a safe plant that did not have ants.

I cleaned the red ant attached to his body because he was seen writhing from the pain that was bitten by the ant itself.

Perhaps, my prediction says that if within 15 minutes he is not helped, then he will die because of being bitten by ant bites whose numbers exceed the leaf beetle itself.
But finally he can be saved from the siege of ants who want to eat him alive.

But someone saw my behavior and he said why did you save him! so I said I am very sorry to see it because it was preyed by red ants! Then, he said again if you saved him then he would continue to eat these ornamental leaves. I was silent thinking about what that person said. So I concluded that the presence of leaf beetles in plants is a pest for plants.

Then I looked for its characteristics in the Google search engine and I found the answer that every beetle that was in ornamental plants or wild plants is a pest for plants and enemies of farmers.

However, I did not find these leaf beetles, but those found in other beetle search engines that varied both in terms of color or shape and their respective characteristics.

However, there is only one explanation written on one of the media Wikipedia in his writings only a little question about the challenge, but there is no picture to ensure the truth. So I concluded correctly what the person said earlier that his existence ate every leaf that grew.

In my view, the leaf beetle does not have a large population, and observed today, there are very few, so it is not said to be a plant pest even though it eats leaves but in a small capacity.

Then it is said that plant pests exist in large populations, because if there are many, then more leaves are eaten. So that it can harm plant farmers. Likewise with other plants. However, the leaf beetle is very rare or difficult to find because of the reason the population is small.

As you have read above that this leaf beetle is in my bungenvile plant in a small capacity, if it eats leaves but in minimal quantities and has not been said to damage our plants.

So I helped him when his body was attacked by his predators like red ants and other species.

Now I have removed the leaf beetle to another bungenvile plant. Because I can't bear to see her body shredded by red ants.

That is how today's experience of meeting leaf beetles, which is very rarely seen in my life. Thanks.
