There are differences in Islamic jurisprudence schools regarding the law of veiling for women. Disagreements among jurists generally revolve around the use, whether it is mandatory, recommended or simply allowed. The difference of opinion is not contradictory and does not need to be banged, because there is no Islamic school that forbids it. In Shafi'i school, the school which is embraced by the majority of Muslims in Southeast Asia, has a mu'tamad opinion.
