ဒိုင္ယာရီ

Sasha's daughter, Sophie Young, was born on this day (May 2) in 1961.Sophie nursed her mother during her last illness and remembers that "this poem was written towards the end of Sasha's illness,when her condition had deteriorated after a period of remission.She refused to let the pain and weakness of her body prevent her from writing poetry, and she was still able to see the beauty in everything.The week before she died, she wrote these few lines in her diary:

  ဆာရွာရဲ႕ သမီးျဖစ္တဲ့ ဆိုဖီယန္းက သူ႔အေမ ေနာက္ဆံုး ေနထိုင္မေကာင္းျဖစ္ေနခ်ိန္မွာ ျပဳစုေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေပးခဲ့တယ္။ခဏေလာက္ ျပန္သက္သာသလို ျဖစ္ၿပီးမွ ဆာရွာရဲ႕အေျခအေနက လံုး၀ ဘုန္းဘုန္းလဲ ၿပိဳက်ပ်က္စီးသြားတယ္။ နာမက်န္း ေနထိုင္မေကာင္းမႈ အဆံုးသတ္ခ်ိန္ဆိုက္လာခ်ိန္မွာ ဒီကဗ်ာေလးကို သူ႔အေမေရးခဲ့တာ ဆိုဖီက အမွတ္ရေနတယ္။ ဆာရွာက သူ႔ခနၶာကိုယ္ႀကီး ေ၀ဒနာေတြနဲ႔ ဘယ္ေလာက္ပဲ ႏြမ္းယဲ့ခ်ိနဲ႔ေနေန ကဗ်ာအေရးကိုေတာ့ အဟန္႔အတားမျဖစ္ေစခဲ့ဘူး။အရာရာမွာ အလွတရားကို ျမင္ေအာင္ၾကည့္ႏိုင္ဆဲပဲ။ (ဆီးမႏိုင္၊တားမရ ေဖာက္ျပန္ေနတဲ့ ရုပ္ႀကီးကို၊ကိုယ္ေကာင္အတၱေဘာႀကီးကို

အျပစ္မတင္၊အျပစ္ျမင္ဘဲ နားလည္သိျမင္မႈေတြနဲ႔ အႏိုင္ေပးခဲ့လိုက္ေသးတယ္)။သူမေသခင္တစ္ပတ္ သူ႔ဒိုင္ယာရီထဲမွာ ခုလို တစ္ေၾကာင္းစ၊ႏွစ္ေၾကာင္းစ ေရးသြားခဲ့ေသးတယ္။

*"Skin now soft and bloated can take
Any impression like the cliffs at Lyme Regis.
On the side of my knee a beautiful shell
Fans itself out like an ammonite."

*ပြေယာင္းရြဲရိ အထိမခံေလေတာ့တဲ့ အေရျပားဟာ
Lyme Regis က ေက်ာက္ေတာင္ေစာင္းမ်ားလို
ဘယ္နည္းနဲ႔မဆို ခမ္းနားလို႔ထည္၀ါ။
ငါ့ဒူးစပ္နားမွာေတာ့
ေၾကာ့ေမာ့လွပတဲ့ အခြံတစ္ခုဟာ
ပင္လယ္ခရု ရုပ္ႂကြင္းလို သူ႔ကိုယ္သူျဖန္႔ခင္းလို႔။
