As you may have heard that your attitude determines your direction. It means that the success of your life depends on your attitude. But the question is what do we call "Success". For some people, success is all about making millions of dollars every year and living in a beautiful villa.

Yet there are some people who consider them successful if they have a beautiful comforting wife and some consider spending nights by buying sex (i.e giving money to prostitutes) is the success. It's all about your vision.

If you ask me what do I call success than I'd say; having a beautiful, loving and caring wife, having children and enjoying the happiness is the success. In case if the person is poor, I'd call him successful if he becomes able to come up with a moderate earnings level. More money is better for sure.

Actually, when we achieve our 1st dream, it's a success. Just after fulfilling the first, we start dreaming the 2nd. In other words, it's about desires that are unlimited. When one is fulfilled, another one appears. A person who is earning $500 per month may wish to earn $1,000 per month but when he successfully achieves his goal of $1,000 per month, he sets his next goal. And well, that's how we all should handle things but keeping the dreams realistic is important. For example, if you are daydreaming that your youngness could be returned to you OR you desire to live in the past, that's simply impossible.

Assuming that your dreams are realistic, you will need certain things in your personality (i.e you may need to change our attitude). As you've read above, your attitude determines your direction. But the question is, what things do we need to build our personality? In this article, we'll discuss some of the things that will help you change your attitude in a good way.

1 - Avoid the negativity:

If there are people with whom you feel stressed then you should know that you're not the only victim. Most of us have some friends with whom we feel a lot of stress and depression. And for some unfortunate people, such people are the important family members.

If it is possible to avoid meeting with such people, then you should definitely do that. It's not good to stop meeting with your family members if they are the ones who make you feel depressed. Rather, it is better to avoid taking their talks or attitude to heart, avoid their negativity and be kind to them.

2 - Gratitude list:

Most of us maintain a do-list and other various lists for some purposes. But It's equally important to maintain a list of things that you have. It will make you show the gratitude to God and your attitude will start changing automatically.

Maintaining the gratitude list will help you see the blessings that you've got from God and you'll be able to analyze yourself and compare with other people who are suffering from even more serious troubles. That's a great way to increase positivity in yourself because you realize that you're still better than some people.

3 - Spend time with positive people:

No one can deny the importance of spending some time with positive people. No matter if such people are even strangers, it is better to spend time with them than spending time with such friends that will make you suffer from depression and stress through their conversations.

Make sure that you spend a few minutes on daily basis with positive people. If your wife is positive enough, it is much better to spend time with her since it won't only help you overcome the difficulties but also improve your relationship because the time you give to your relationship is important for its improvement.
