Washington - US President Donald Trump said Tuesday (01/05) he may have gone to Al-Quds (Jerusalem) to inaugurate the opening of the Embassy. It was in accordance with an invitation from Netanyahu last February, in recognition of 'Israeli independence' dated May 14, 1948.
The United States has moved its embassy offices from Tel Aviv to Al-Quds, in recognition of the city in it against the Aqsa Mosque as the capital of Israel.
Quoted from the Reuters news agency, the statement was disclosed from the White House. He did not give further details.
The US plans to move the embassy officially to Al-Quds on 14 May. The embassy will occupy the temporary building while waiting for the construction of the permanent complex to be completed. This move is faster than originally planned.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier told Fox News in an interview that he wanted to visit Trump. Trump, last month, also pointed out that he may attend the embassy opening.
The transfer of US embassies to Al-Quds has sparked Muslims around the world, including in Indonesia. The clerics who are familiar with the Palestinians are calling for massive action on Friday tomorrow to defend Al-Quds.
This action will be held simultaneously in various cities in Indonesia. The main purpose of this action is to oppose the recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of Israel. (processed from @kiblatnet with editing)
