Ladybugs is one of the small insects of the Coleoptera order. This insect is easily recognizable from its small round appearance with its colorful backs as well as on some speckled species.
In Western countries, these insects are known as ladybirds (British English, Australian English, South African English), ladybugs (North American English) or lady beetles (or ladybird beetles in Europe).
Other names (though rarely used) are ladyclock, lady cow, and lady fly. Most people know the koksi beetle as a ladybird, because its size and shield are also hard, but this beetle is not at all from the nation of ladybirds (Hemiptera).
