Masjid Agung Palembang was founded in the 18th century by Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I Jaya Wikrama. Capacity can accommodate up to 15 thousand worshipers. Still in front of the mosque, there is a fountain pool and shady trees.
The Chinese architectural style was clear when I looked at the roof. If usually the roof-roof of the mosque in the form of a dome, the Masjid Agung Palembang just shaped ordinary tile and the tip of the roof has a pointy similar to the pagoda.
