This beetle is small: only 7-8 mm. But these voracious beetles eat some kind of lice. If not expelled by ants, these beetles can be found in places where lice gather in pepper trees. If you find lice, the koksi beetle stays there and starts eating. After sunrise, mature beetles look for food. The koksi beetle can mate with other koksi beetles with different color patterns. Before laying eggs, the female koksi beetle will choose a place where many of its food insects are so hatching, their larvae are surrounded by abundant food supplies. The eggs are oval in yellow to orange and are usually placed on the underside of leaves.

I've never seen a beetle this small. 7-8mm is tiny!
There's lots of them in the UK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coccinellidae
