One of the thing that has regress the development of our community is the "I don't care attitude" people display when it comes to doing something, performing a task or discharging a duties that is not directly affecting them.
We live in a community where
- people take things for granted
- we do government job in a way we won't like other people to handle our own business,
- we perform community task the way can't dare to structure our family,
- teacher teach in a way s/he doesn't pray his/her wards to be taught.
In short, we have restricted doing the right to when it is our own.
But let write a frictional story.
Their use to be two brother A and B. A is the elder brother. B travel out of the country and after sometimes, he called his brother that he will like to be sending money home to build a house and brother consented to help take proper monitoring. Starting from the following month, B began to send money home, but the brother because of his selfish interest make a deal with a contractor to use majorly fake material in building the house so that he can have a lot of money to himself. After 3 years, he house was completed and B plan coming home without informing his brother. After his arrival, he inform his brother who take it a bit hard with him for not informing him of his coming. After the little issue was settled, A took his younger brother to the house he has built for him and at the point when he was about handling over the key of the house to him, B said my brother, while abroad, I daily ruminate over what you have done for me since our parent demise and always thought of how I could repay you in a little way so therefore, this house is yours. Brother A hearing this, he bursted into tears in which his younger brother taught it was a tears of joy but when it seems uncontrollable, A began to confess that he can't live in the house that he has make use of fake material in building the house and this make his brother to be disappointed in him.
So by the story, we see that majority of what we do that are not our own have a way of coming back to us whether directly or indirectly and the effect they will have when they come back is dependent on how we have handle it when we were doing it.
