Hello my friends!
I have already told you a few words about my trip to the butterfly park. Today I found a lot of pictures from the trip and would like to share some of them with you. This butterfly park is located in a little Ukrainian town Uman. I and my husband went there by bus and it took us about 2 hours to get there. It was a very interesting trip. During our travel by bus we were admiring wide wheat and sunflower fields. Wheat and sunflowers are national symbols of Ukraine. They mean well-being and property.
The butterfly park impressed us by its beauty. There were a plenty of colorful butterflies in it. They were almost tame and some of them sat on my shoulder without any fear. But the guide told that the butterflies had a very short life. Their life span is only a few days. It is sad that everything beautiful is so short-lived. The guide also told that the number of many species of butterflies is catastrophically decreasing on our planet. It is a very sad fact because even in my native city Odessa a lot of trees were cut down in order to build supermarkets on the place of parks and forest plantations. As a result it is very difficult to meet a representative of wildlife in Odessa. Protect the environment dear friends because it is our biggest value.
