Everything in life has a time. Time to shine; time to suffer; time to die... That's life for you. Nothing is permanent and will ever be. That's life for you.
The defender Micar Richards who once played for trio of England, Man City and Aston Villa has announced his retirement from Active football at the age of 31.
This is as a result of a long term knee injury he sustained since Aston Villa's 1-1 draw with Wolves way back in October 2016. He hasn't played for the Villa since this unfortunate event and its sad to learn that same event led to his "demise" in Active football.
He released a statement, saying he gonna work with City but on an ad hoc basis off the field, and he would combine it with his business interest.
According to his statement to City's website....
"It's not the ideal way to finish a career. I'd much rather have said goodbye in the way Vinny [Kompany] did in his last few games for City but it wasn't to be.
"I won the Premier League and the FA Cup, played for England and represented Great Britain at an Olympic Games.
"I consider myself blessed and I am looking forward to renewing my many friendships at City. It is a special place that looks after its own.
"Whether I eventually take coaching badges and stay on that side of the game may be a decision for another time."
It's so painful seeing a youngster retire at this prime age. Damn!
Cautiously waiting for my time ,
The guy really tried and serves well. I wish him all the best in life
