It is incomplete to visit the Juang Bireuen City of Aceh Province without feeling the pleasure of one of the City's culinary specialties, located 270 Km from Banda Aceh, which is very well known, namely the Bireuen Noodle Dumplings. Dumpling noodles that have two flavors, fried dumpling noodles and gravy dumpling noodles are well known throughout Aceh.
The ingredients used to make noodles consist of, flour, ash water, chicken eggs and margarine. While the way to make flour noodles, chicken eggs, margarine, and ash water is mixed then mixed until evenly mixed. Then the flour mixture has been mixed in the ground and finely chopped into noodles. Boil the noodles with hot water, drain the cooking water of the noodles and pour in a small basin, and add cooking oil.
As a supplementary material
Grind chicken meat or puree.
Cooking oil.
Red onion.
Red chili pepper.
Cayenne pepper.
Boiled bean sprouts
Celery leaves.
Leek.
How to brew dumpling noodles
After the noodles are boiled with hot water until cooked then the noodles are drained and discard the boiled water. Add cooking oil and pour the noodles in a bowl or plate. Then add the bean sprouts that have been boiled, pickled shallots mixed with vinegar and cayenne pepper. Enter the chicken meat that has been boiled and mashed. Add cayenne pepper that has been mashed and cooked to taste spicy. Sprinkle the celery leaves (soup leaves) and leeks that have been finely chopped and pour the sauce. Bireuen dumpling noodles ready to serve.
