  1. Quality of Information The quality of information is strongly influenced or determined by three main points, namely accuracy (accuracy), relevance (relevancy), and timeliness (timeliness). (Agus Mulyanto, 2009: 247).
a). Accuracy (accuracy) An information must be accurate because from the source of information to the recipient of information the possibility of many disturbances that can change or damage the information. Information is said to be accurate if the information is unbiased or misleading, free of errors and should clearly reflect its intent. The inaccuracy of an information can occur because the source of information (data) has interrupted or deliberate so as to damage or alter the original data. Some things that can affect the accuracy of an information include:
  1. Accurate information must have good completeness, because if the resulting information will partially affect the decision-making or determine the overall action, so it will affect the ability to control or solve a problem well. 2) Information generated by data processing, must be correct in accordance with the calculations that exist in the process. 3) Information must be safe from any interference (noise) may alter or damage the accuracy of such information with the main purpose. b) Timeliness Information generated from a data processing process, the arrival should not be late (obsolete). Late information will not have good value, because information is the basis for decision making. Mistakes in making decisions will be fatal to the company. Costly information is caused to be fast and precise information is obtained. This is because the speed at which to obtain, process and transmit such information requires the help of the latest technologies. Thus it is necessary that the latest technologies to obtain, process, and transmit the information. c) Relevance (relevancy) Information is said to be of quality if relevant to the wearer. This means that the information should be beneficial to the wearer. The relevance of information for each person is different. For example, information on the destruction of computer lab infrastructure is directed to the university rector. But it will be more relevant if addressed to the laboratory responsible. 2. Value Information Parameter to measure the value of an information (value of information) is determined from two main things namely benefits (benefits) and cost (cost). However, in reality the information that costs to get it high does not necessarily have a high benefit anyway. According to Sutarman (2012: 14), the value of information is determined by five things: 1) To gain understanding and benefits. 2) To gain experience. 3) Accumulated learning so that it can be applied in solving problems or specific business processes. 4) To extract critical in- cllications and reflect on past experiences that provide highly organized knowledge of value. This value can avoid a manager from making the same mistakes made by other managers before. 5) An information is said to be worth when its benefits are more effective than the cost of getting it. Most of the information can not be estimated profit with a monetary value, but can be assessed the value of its effectiveness. According to Gordon B. Davis the value of information is said to be perfect if the difference between the optimal policy, without perfect information and the optimal policy of using perfect information can be clearly stated. The value of an information can be determined by its nature. About 10 properties that can determine the value of information, as follows: 1) Ease in obtaining Information has a more perfect value if it can be obtained easily. Important and indispensable information becomes worthless if it is difficult to obtain. 2) The broad nature and completeness Information has a more perfect value if it has a broad scope / complete and complete. The incomplete and incomplete information becomes worthless, because it can not be used properly. 3) Accuracy (accuracy) Information has a more perfect value if it has a high accuracy / accurate. Information becomes worthless if it is not accura
