Receiving the good news
Always at Christmas people celebrate the birth of the child, God, are moments to share with the family, it is a very special day. However, many are not aware of the great gift that God has given us with his Son Jesus. The gospel details us in (Matthew 1 18-25, Matthew 2 1-12 and Luke 1 27-38, Luke 2 1-21) this event already announced by the prophets (Isaiah 9 6-7 and Micah 5 2).
Jesus grew up in a home where the spirit of God and the strength of the Divine Word inspired his steps, so he appears in the synagogue before the doctors of the law at the young age of twelve (Luke 2: 41-52, Matthew 13 : 53-56) demonstrating his wisdom.
Then the years passed and at an age of 30 years after being baptized with water by John the Baptist, the Holy Spirit descends upon HIM, and later begins his public ministry choosing his first disciples (Matthew 3: 13-17; 4: 1). -11; 13:55; Mark 6: 3; John 1: 29-51; 2: 1-12).
The Gospels detail wonderful aspects of the public ministry of Jesus, with his teachings, miracles, his dedication to the most needy, his mercy and love for us. He has loved us first, that it is not our poor heart so many times twisted and overshadowed, the source of love, but God himself; Love springs from Him and ignites a spark in us that leads us to live in joy and dedication to others. (John 15: 9-17)
