Wow! Fantastic news @papilloncharity. Well done. Having been involved in NGOs and fundraising, I know the damage that false hopes do. I guess that makes it all the more rewarding when one can fulfil promises. Universe Direct does great work.

Thank you Lady Fiona.
It was the stress over the years of my fundraising role that created the burnout and the illnesses in my body.
A thankless and difficult task and we never had enough money to make ends meet.
We also couldn't afford the large amounts that professional fundraisers charge for their services, but somehow by grace, we have survived for 17 years and we are now in our 18th year.
But as you see here, there is another miracle to add to our long list of achievements.
If it's up to me, we will continue until the day that I am no more.
We were blessed to have a connection at Universe Direct.
Blessings!
You are a better person than I. I left the fundraising industry a long time ago, even after being involved with the Institute. I understand exactly what you are saying. I believe you must be rewarded. Somehow. In the end. Be well.
