πŸ‹ Character of butterflies 🐬

in #esteem β€’ 7 years ago (edited)
In the study of biological sciences and taxonomy it is explained that the butterflies belong to the order order of the order of Rhopalocera Lepidoptera. The Lepidoptera order including butterflies has great economic importance in tropical and sub-tropical countries. Butterflies have nectar-flowered organs, although there are also species that have never visited flower gardens and prefer to eat plant nira, decomposed animal parts, or other organic ingredients. While larvae feed on plants some of them act as important pests in crops and other wild plants.

Next the butterfly has two pairs of membranous wings, which are covered in scales and are usually attractive, brilliant colors with regular patterns. The scales on the wings are easily dislodged like dust when held and have no frenulum. Most of the body and legs are covered with scales, slim and sideburns at the ends.
In the world there are about 20,000 species of butterflies, with Brazil as the owner of the largest variety of species.

Then the wings of the butterflies look so beautiful, because on the wings there are scales that are colorful and lined tightly. Butterfly color is very much, if we see butterfly with the same color mean butterfly is 1 species. If the scales are taken then the butterfly wings will become translucent. Butterflies can distinguish groups, male or female by looking at the color and pattern of the wings. That is one reason also the many colors and patterns of wings on the butterfly. And besides, the butterfly wings have a function to hold water. Butterflies must be distinguished from moths. Both belong to a family of insects called Lepidoptera and have some similar features, including the patterned wings. The difference, butterfly wings are more colorful and conspicuous compared to moth wings with a slightly brownish color.

The physical characteristics of the butterfly are divided into three parts: head, thorax and abdomen. There are 3 (three) pairs of legs (legs) and two pairs of wings on the chest, genitals and anchorage at the end of the stomach. The butterfly's body is covered with chitin (exoskeleton or outer framework) and is arranged in a uniform cicine or segments separated by a flexible membrane. In each part the butterfly (head, chest and abdomen) is covered in a soft layer, fluffy and flashy / brightly lit.

In a book titled butterfly expressed by smart (1976), which states three parts of the butterfly's body has its own structure with the function of each section as follows: β€’ Head (caput) The head is a small round capsule that carries a sensory feeding device. Tableware is called a probosis, while the sensory device is a pair of antennas that usually thicken at the ends. Butterfly eyes are shaped like ball balls that swell at the top of the head and are usually called compound eyes. β€’ Chest (chest) The chest is the central part of the butterfly's body and serves as a mover, in which the feet and wings are attached. The toraks consist of three segments, each segment has a pair of legs to walk and hold on. Two pairs of wings are present in mezothoraks and metathoraks (second and third segments of the chest segment). In some species the rear wing butterfly has a tornus (tail).

Thus friend friend steemit about this type of insect, may be useful.
