The uniqueness of butterflies is rarely known

Surely you really know what is meant by a butterfly, because this type of insect we often encounter around us, butterflies besides beautiful and beautiful with a variety of colors it turns out that butterflies have some uniqueness found in them.

There are some uniqueness that exist in the butterfly, among others is

  1. The first uniqueness is that a butterfly cannot fly when its body temperature is below 30 degrees Celsius. (Butterfly book).

  2. We may not know that butterflies are able to migrate thousands of kilometers in search of warm (tropical) regions when winter arrives and again travels thousands of kilometers when spring arrives and they will always be so all the time.

3. Not all but some butterflies have never eaten because they don't have mouths. These butterflies survive only with the energy collected when they are cocooned or during birth processes.

  1. Then another catocystocy or other uniqueness is the size of a butterfly ranging from one eighth of an inch to 12 inches or sometimes slightly reduced or more, but an average of 12 inches.

  2. When a butterfly egg hatches and becomes a caterpillar, the caterpillar has no bones but has many small legs so that it can move quickly to find food or avoid enemies but they can still survive.

6. Some butterflies have long mouths that are used to suck food. This special mouth is called Probosis.

  1. Basically the beautiful butterfly wings are actually transparent, but because of the difference in brightness in each thin layer of the wings, the wings of the butterfly look colorful, but there are also wings of butterflies that are so transparent that they can penetrate.

  2. The butterfly is a holometabola insect that undergoes perfect metamorphosis and is very unique in terms of both shape and character.

9. One of the other uniqueness is that the butterfly can feel the taste of the leaves with its feet when perched on the leaves. Butterflies check whether the leaves are tasty enough to eat caterpillars / their children after hatching.
  1. When the eggs have hatched from eggs to become butterflies, caterpillars have a large increase in body up to 27,000 times. (Early Butterfly Book).
