Have you ever wanted to read posts that are written in foreign languages like Korean, Chinese, Russian or even English?
As community diversity grows we will not only need tools that are in different languages but features that enable us to understand and communicate effectively. In upcoming release we are also working on Translate Post feature where you can translate content of post to any language with couple clicks.
Google translate is one of the mostly used tool when it comes to translation of phrases and sentences. You might be already using it by copy pasting content to different browser tab or when you are on mobile maybe using Tap to translate...
What eSteem will do is to make it even easier without leaving app. Simple click and get translated version of the text, no need to copy text.

Mine has always worked fast...only problem i had was uploading pictures once, which was resolved in a day...
Yes, slowness is really combination of device and connection. If your device is relatively new (hardware specs are decent) and internet connection is also relatively stable, app should work just fine. But the problem is there are dozen different type of devices (Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, HTC, etc.) with different OS (Android 4/5/6.x, iOS 8/9/10.x, etc.) and different hardware specifications, which is not easy task to find out what the issue is unless user provide full details, that's why encouragement and feedback loop program was introduced to incentivize users to give proper feedbacks...
Unfortunately, it's slow even on Iphone6s, maybe this device is old already, I don't know) hope they won't stop working on it or we can see an official app soon. Anyway, competition isn't a bad thing, wish luck to eSteem team. I was complaining about an app in one of my previous posts but then people explained me that the team work on enthusiasm, so let's upvote their moves to keep them going

Yeah! The name itself is quite awesome! awesome people doing awesome job! To translate one language is already quite difficult, to do several languages at the same time! The coordination tasks!! One would have a lot of patience, great sense of humour and tremendous love for humanity! Amazing!

to my knowledge the application steemit to androit there are two steemit, one, one, I use the eStem eStem, but for this application it is often problematic, such as error when uploading photos, sometimes successfully, roughly what the problem is, and what the solution is, and another, this app is a bit slow lowding or process, before I commented here, I've asked some of my friends about this eStem application constraints , the problem is the same as me, please a nice development broder, because I already feel comfortable with the eStem applications. Thank you.
Photo upload from what we heard from users is occasional error which is most likely due to slow connection or peak use times on our server. We are investigating it more to see where things can be improved ;)
ouh thank you've taken the time to reply to my comment, according to my analysis, not a gaffe from the user, because I personally use speedy with a speed of 20 MB/second, I tell it like it is, because not always error, sometimes smoothly, and sometimes error. Hopefully future ahead, the spirit of broder, thanks a lot has developed applications of eSteem, you are the best.

That's a very good idea @good-karma it takes a long time to translate some context that are big, but if steemit can come up with this, it will not only be easier but also fun doing so. Thanks.

you .. yes you @ good-karma is my witness and am proud of you.... if you go through my blog...i sent some posts to spanish, korean and chinese in their language as i wanted to reach the readers there.. using google translate... one chinese guys flagged and eliminated all my earnings..i felt bad and discauraged.. a very educative post but wonder if the translation is not good enough as first time poster there i should have been advised or bettter stil shown how to do better...i think as a community we should accomodate others... i really want an option where using esteem we can have posts translated and sent to other languages like chinese and korean as some of our posts needs to reach other readers...

My question is...can i download the esteem app from say google pay and transfer the app to another phone?
It will probably be a very wobbly translation, but I guess it's still a good feature if you want to understand at least some part of what someone was trying to communicate.

now a days i have used google translate to convert other countries language to English first i copy the article the convert through google translate now if esteem app is working on google translate with one click then life is so simple... thanks @good-karma

That'd be a good initiative. There are a lot of Steemit users out there. That sort of project would be helpful.
Fully supports it. No doubt. But esteem still really slow and lagish though. Especially on the blog tab.

I have a suggestion; Enter also the translation of Aceh (English-Aceh and Aceh-English). Hee .. hee .. It's just a suggestion.

eSteem is a little slow though, but I use it regularely and I like the notifications very much and also the different search functions (user and tags). This is an awesome piece of software. And of course an integrated Google translation just would be great!
Thanks peter for feedback! Would you elaborate what pages you feel slowness? Although number of users reported Profile page can use some improvements, would be great to know your input as well.
Maybe it is my smartphone (OnePlusOne), I do not know, but the app is in general a bit slow. It takes a bit less than 2sec to build up the pages. I can only compare my experience with other apps, which in general are much faster. There is no specific page on eSteem, which I feel being slower, compared to other eSteem pages.

@Good-karma I think esteem for now still looks burdensome on the phone, I think this is because a lot of draining the RAM, this may happen because the display theme is so good, in my opinion can be reduced the theme a little bit, so the speed can increase, that's all, thanks
