Banda Aceh - Police secured 313 3-kilogram LPG (liquified petroleum gas) gas tubes from LPG gas retailers and bases in Neuheun and Sibreh Aceh Besar on Monday 19 March 2018.
Banda Aceh Police Chief AKBP Trisno Riyanto said the 313 was secured by the police because the bases were selling LPG gas above the highest retail price (het) set by the government of Rp 18,000 per participant.
The investigation of the case stems from a Neuheun resident report on the gas sales activity in the area above the official retail price of Rp 33,000-35,000 per participant.
As a result of the report, police officers visited the gas seller with initials (SJ) in the village, from the hands of the perpetrators secured 72 empty gas tubes and one tube containing.
To the police, SJ claimed to get gas from brother of RH owner of gas station of Malacca Gas in Sibreh, Suka Makmur Sub-district with the price of Rp 29,000 per participant. "The 3 kg LPG bases at Gampong Sibreh Keumude Suka Makmur Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, which does not have a license from PT Pertamina related to selling the LPG gas," said Trisno.
Based on the acknowledgment of RH suspect, he has been doing unlawful activities for 3 years, while SJ for 1 year.
Now the two suspects have been secured police officers to account for his actions. Both are subjected to Article 55 of Law No. 22 of 2001 on oil and natural gas with a maximum imprisonment of 6 years and a fine of Rp 60 billion. [] Source: aceh media
