Undur-undur termasuk binatang pemangsa, membuat sarangnya di tanah kering yang cukup mendapat cahaya. sarang yang keruncut atau tirut yang berfungsi sebagai perangkap . Sarang binatang ini sering di jumpai di tempat teduh seperti di bawah atap rumah dan di bawah rumah yang tinggi .larva undur undur mirip seperti kantung yang berbuku- buku. Dan memilikirahang yang melengkung yang lumayan besar. Binatang ini membuat lubang di pasir yang gembur dengan spiral ekornya.
