Abu Umamah said that he heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "When I slept, I was approached by two men, then both pulled my arm and led me to the steep mountain. Both said, "Rise up". Then I said, "I really can not." Then the two said, "We'll make it easier for you". So I climbed so that when I reached the darkness of the mountain, suddenly there was a very loud voice. Then I asked, "What's that sound?" They replied, "That is the cry of the inhabitants of hell."

Then I took me for a walk and I was with people who hung on large veins on their heels, their mouths were torn, and from that tear the blood was flowing. Then I (Abu Umamah) asked, "Who are they?" The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied, "They are the ones breaking fast (breaking the fast) before the time comes." (Narrated by Ibn Khuzaimah in saheeh 7: 263, Al-Hakim 1: 595 in his mustadrok Adz Dzahabi says that this hadeeth is according to the Muslim's condition but not issued by him The author of Shifat Shaum of the Prophet (p.25) says that this hadeeth sanah).

See torture for anyone who breaks the fast intentionally in this hadith, then how else with people who are reluctant to fast since the beginning of Ramadan and never fast at all ?!
