Hello my Dearest Friends,
After several cold and rainy days the sky finally cleared and sun was shining. Yeah! Although it was quite windy and only 13C, it couldn't keep us from going apple picking.
Originally we were planning to visit same farm as we did last year, unfortunately there was a two hours wait lineup; not something we were willing to go trough. Luckily Andrews Scenic Acres is located not too far from Chudleighβs. They are both great farms to visit for the fun and farm experience, but I must say Chudleighβs is the best for apple picking. (You may check my LAST YEAR POST if you like). However, Andrews has also grapes, sunflowers, Dahlia flower and the most beautiful pumpkins I ever seen. I took lots of photos, but I will have to come back with that next week, because this post would be too long.
Most importantly, we all had a great time on the fresh air surrounded by beautiful nature. We took a ride on the tractor, but we walked a lot as well. The boys loved it πππ

Temperature wise were not doing to bad, but this week is all rain and grey days, I want just one day or even a couple of hours to see the sun again LOL
Oh really? We had that at beginning of October, but now is beautiful and not too cold anymore. I am sure you get sunshine soon too π

I have close up pictures of those pumpkins and my daughter go one. I will post them next week. If I had my own house, I wold buy whole bunch, lol. Anyway, we got these red apples, which I am not sure what they are, lol and mcintosh. But my daughter took most of them, I just have enough for pie and some to eat. I have no place to store them, but I may take some more when I go to her place. Thank you for visiting Katie πππ
Oh my goodness! I can just imagine how much fun the boys had being at the farm! Your photos of those apples just really make me wish I had some freshly picked apples here. I may have to find a way to make a trip to the Apple farm myself!

I done my share of farms and pumpkin patches over the years with my kids and grandkids and remember how much fun they are!
I have no doubt, but those days Steemit did not existed. Now the fun is double, when you share it here πππ
My scooter does not do well on unpaved surfaces. The kids did take me with them a couple years ago, but last year I choose to stay home. It is difficult.
I am sorry to hear that Melinda. Luckily you live on a beautiful property surrounded by nature so you don't have to go to places with difficult terrain.
Just lovely one thing i love to do is pick fresh fruit of trees and eat them those apples made my mouth water up just looking at their rosie color a great day for everyone by the looks of it π

The problem with Canadian farms is that they only look good for 3 months out of the year!
It's actually 7, from middle of May to middle of November!!!
